Our
qualified trainers endeavor to make our classes as interesting and
as informative as possible. Sanctioned by the NRCG of the NWCG, we
will continue to provide the latest in Wildland fire training.
Our instructors do not just meet but exceed the minimum requirements
of the NRCG. We keep a record (IQS) of all training you receive from
us, plus training received from other sanctioned providers when you
show us verification. This way you are in our database should you
lose your certificates, red or yellow cards or you need us to verify
your qualifications for any reason. These records are private and
only made available as required by the NRCG. When you complete a
training course that is required by NRCG you will receive a training
certificate with our MOU number and signed by a qualified
member of the Board of Directors as set forth in our by-laws. You
will receive the appropriate taskbook for the training. We will
initiate taskbooks upon review of all pre-requisite qualifications
and certify them upon completion after review by and recommendation
from our lead instructor. The Board members will make the final
decision for certification. Red cards will be issued to those
individuals in full compliance with the 310-1, with our MOU number
and signed by a qualified member of the Board. We provide pack tests
as part of FFT-2 (Basic Firefighter) and Fireline Safety. Yellow
cards will be issued to those individuals who do not need FFT-2, but
require the Fireline Safety class and/or a pack test (arduous,
moderate or light-walk).
